Lots of in and out mid and high clouds over the last 24 hrs and more to come. However, now with southerly winds, the potential for fog to roll in with the warmer air over our still chilly ground will trade fog to low clouds in the mornings to come. As the fog lifts out, the moisture may reform more low clouds near inversion. Or in some cases, the fog bank lifts and slowly scatters out becoming the cloud elements, lifting during heating like the mixing height, which will also build upwards this week. Our min RH today will vary from still some upper 30 and low 40 percent values in our I-30 corridor, but mostly mid to upper 40 percent 3pm calculations south of I-30. Some of the highest RH mins will be in our Kisatchie districts in the low to mid 50 percent range. These higher min RH values will continue to increase areawide with these higher moisture content conditions as long as the southerly flow moves inland off the Gulf. So look for the lower mins again after a couple of storms move by, namely the one late week where much needed rainfall will occur. Drier air will follow that rain event with W/NW winds once again late this weekend coming. So these conditions look to remain favorable for prescription for much of this week as our first system Tuesday in Wednesday will bring only very light amounts of rain, if any. The weekend system still looks to bring a good 1 to 2 inches areawide with some higher totals possible east of I-49.
