Critical fire weather conditions will develop across the southeast mountains and portions of the adjacent I-25 corridor and southern plains south of highway 50. Have added zone 225 to today's Red Flag Warning. Some elevated fire weather conditions will be possible over extreme southern and northern portions of El Paso county and central Chaffee county, though coverage and duration does not look sufficient for additional expansions of current Red Flag Warnings. A dry cold front will move through the plains tonight with cooler temperatures for Tuesday across the plains. Warmer weather returns for the southeast mountains and plains with rounds of snow spreading into the Continental Divide at times through mid to late week. Precipitation amounts continue to trend downwards with a few inches of snow possible Wednesday and Wednesday night and again over the weekend. This will bring cooler temperatures for the latter part of the week into the weekend. Afternoon dispersions rise into the good to very good category across most of the district today, though pockets of poor dispersions will persist across northern portions of the San Luis Valley and far eastern plains.
