Overnight humidity recoveries are excellent within the marine layer but remain poor to fair above it. The marine layer is expected to compress below 1000 feet by mid-week with overnight recoveries worsening across the highest peaks of the Interior Central Coast. Warmer, drier conditions this week will see a return of daytime RH values in the teens to 20s across the interior Central Coast and Eastern Santa Clara Hills while fair daytime humidity retention continues within the marine layer. Diurnally breezy onshore winds continue with gusts greater than 25 mph across favored mountain gaps/passes, the coast, and highest ridgelines.
