Southwesterly to southerly boundary layer flow will continue to bring more low moisture into the area tonight into Tuesday. 20 foot winds from the southwest around 10 mph gusting to between 15 and 20 mph and abundant cloud cover are expected on Tuesday. This will help to keep afternoon minimum relative humidity values primarily above 50 percent. Transport winds will be from the southwest around 20 mph and ceiling heights between 3000 and 4000 feet, allowing for good smoke dispersion. Rain is expected to wet the fuels late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning. Rainy and cloudy conditions will linger on Wednesday, but precipitation will push southeast of the area after noon.
