Winds are currently gusting up to 35 mph, which will continue through sunset. For the mountains, expect gusty winds up to 65 mph to continue across the Front Range through the late afternoon before weakening after sunset. A cold front will arrive this evening, which will bring an influx of moisture to the area and decrease fire weather concerns. Behind the front, brief northerly wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible through midnight tonight, particularly for areas off the Cheyenne Ridge.
