For the remainder of today, the best chance for activity will be over the northern Midlands and Pee Dee. Showers and thunderstorms continue across the entire region for Thursday and Thursday night, with the potential for several waves of activity to move through the forecast area. Lingering activity still possible Friday morning just ahead of a cold front, then drier conditions begin moving in Friday night through the weekend.
