Weather remains fairly quiet through late this week with dry, breezy

 daytime conditions and good overnight humidity recoveries. Hot and 

dry weather will build and reach the upper 90s across the interior 

starting Thursday, temperatures peaking on Friday, into the weekend.

 Daytime humidity retention will be between 15%-30% across the 

interior and poor to moderate overnight recoveries (30-40%) above 

2,000 ft Thursday to Saturday with the poorest humidity values 

expected Friday. Overnight humidity recoveries improve late weekend 

into early next week as an upper level disturbance moves through the

 area and allows the marine layer to deepen.

The deepened marine layer will quickly compress tonight as high

pressure build back in. Breezy northerly winds  have developed this

afternoon with RH forecast to drop down to  the mid to low 30s in

the interior. Winds will lighten Tuesday,  but a quick shot of

offshore winds will lower minimum RH values  down to the mid to low

20s in zones 264, 277 and into the teens  in zones 283 and 212.

Overnight recoveries will be good, to the  upper 50s to 60s through

these zones. There is low chance for some convective showers or an

isolated thunderstorm Wednesday afternoon over eastern Trinity

County. Temperatures quickly warm back up on Tuesday, and further

warming will continue late next week when  triple digit heat is

likely Friday and Saturday.
