40 percent for for interior valleys, the Central Coast mountains,

and interior hills and mountains of the East and North Bay. This

will be accompanied with breezy onshore at times  where gusts up to

30 mph will be possible for ridges, gaps, and  channels. The terms

for high based showers or perhaps a rumble of  thunder remains less

than 5 percent this afternoon. RH recovery  tonight may be poor in

these areas. Temperatures today and  tomorrow will be just below to

near normal, with a warming trend  at the end of the week and into

the weekend. There will be a push  for marine stratus this morning

and for the next few nights.

Warm, to hot, and dry conditions will continue  across the region

this week. High temperatures just slightly  above average are

forecast at the coast with high temperatures in  the interior

gradually getting hotter towards the end of the week. Wind gusts

will generally diminish throughout the week as a ridge settles in

over the area, maintaining dry conditions for inland  areas.
