.DISCUSSION...



The pressure gradient driving northeast winds is slowly weakening

and should dissipate between 1700-1900 hours with ridgetop winds

shifting light out of the southwest.  A ridge of high pressure will

be in place through the weekend promoting warm and dry conditions

under mostly clear skies.  Winds will be light overnight and into 

Saturday morning with increasing southwest winds Saturday afternoon 

after 1300 pdt.  Main impacts will be ridgetop with elevations closer

to 4300 feet on the northeast aspect sheltered.  Winds continue to 

increase Sunday night and Monday with the passage of a cold front.  

The front will bring a 30% chance of showers to the project on Monday.
