.DISCUSSION...

A weak, dry cold front tonight will keep winds westerly on Thursday. Growing 

cumulus clouds will develop into isolated showers around the spot Thursday afternoon. 

Then, numerous rain/snow showers will arrive from the west around 0100 MDT Friday 

morning with the next cold front. Higher ridges should see light snow accumulations with 

snow levels lowering to 5500-6500 ft MSL Friday morning. Shower coverage will decrease 

after 0600-0800 MDT, but isolated showers will continue around the spot through the 

afternoon. Best chance for a lightning strike between 1500-1900 MDT Friday. Erratic 

gusts up to 20-30 mph possible in exposed areas near storms.

Sky/weather.........Partly sunny. A slight chance of rain and snow 

                    showers in the afternoon. Chance of 

                    precipitation 20 percent.
