Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS...A 30.0 inch high pressure ridge over the Prairie Provinces will extend 29.8 inch ridging into the Upper Mississippi Valley this afternoon. This ridge will build to 30.1 inches as it shifts across the Upper Great Lakes tonight and Monday. On Tuesday, the ridge at 30.2 inches will extend from Hudson Bay to the Lower Great Lakes while deep low pressure of 29.1 inches lifts northeast across the central Plains. This low will then weaken to 29.4 inches as it tracks to Wisconsin on Wednesday, and it will weaken further to 29.7 inches as it moves over northern Ontario on Thursday. In its wake, a 30.2 inch high pressure ridge will build southeast across the Plains to the Mid-Mississippi Valley during Thursday and Thursday night.
