Through Wednesday, the Northern Plains low weakens and a 29.5 inch low ejecting out of the Plains moves east along the southern end of the Great Lakes Basin. After a brief window of height rises late in the day Wednesday, another 29.5 inch low moves from the Central Plains to the Ohio River Valley early Thursday. Weak 30.0 inch ridging briefly builds in Thursday night through early Friday before another 29.7 inch low pressure trough drops through later in the day. This will be followed by weak height rises Saturday as a weak ridge briefly builds to 29.8 inches.
