Northerly winds will continue to weaken today as high pressure around 30.4 inches builds across Hudson Bay and extends south over the Upper Great Lakes through Saturday. Lighter winds will persist before turning easterly on Sunday as the high pressure weakens as it tracks east while low pressure around 29.3 inches develops over the Central Plains. This low is progged to weaken as it lifts across the Upper Mississippi River Valley overnight Sunday into Monday, but still expecting winds to increase over Lake Michigan. Cannot rule out a few gale force gust during this time, but winds should predominately remain below gales through Monday before shifting to the west on Tuesday.
