Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest

1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of

the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.



.SYNOPSIS...A 30.2 inch ridge axis will drift across New England 

through Tuesday. A weakening 29.8 inch trough will then wash 

out as it approaches the lower Great Lakes from the west on 

Wednesday. Another 29.6 inch low over the Deep South will track 

northeastward to near Lake Erie and deepen to 29.2 inches by later

Thursday.

Waves 2 feet or less. 

.TONIGHT...East winds 10 knots or less becoming southwest. Waves

1 to 2 feet. 

.TUESDAY...South winds 10 knots or less becoming east 10 to

15 knots. A chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Waves 2 feet or less. 

.TUESDAY NIGHT...East winds 5 to 15 knots becoming south. Showers

likely with a chance of thunderstorms. Waves 1 to 2 feet. 

.WEDNESDAY...West winds 5 to 15 knots becoming east. A chance of

showers during the day, then showers likely Wednesday night.

Waves 2 feet or less. 

.THURSDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots becoming south 15 to

20 knots. Showers. Waves 1 to 3 feet building to 2 to 4 feet. 

.FRIDAY...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west. Showers.
