During tonight and Friday, the ridge, at 30.5 inches, will shift to New England and the Maritime Provinces while low pressure of 29.2 inches lifts from eastern Colorado into Nebraska. This low will continue to track northeast, weakening to 29.6 inches by the time it reaches northeast Lake Superior on Saturday evening.
