recommended actions for people in the Northern CNMI.



.Watches/Warnings...

A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Agrihan, Pagan and 

Alamagan.



Please check the latest public and marine forecasts for detailed

information about additional hazards.



.STORM INFORMATION...

At 7 PM ChST...the center of Super Typhoon Bolaven (15W) was

located near Latitude 18.6N...Longitude 143.3E. This was About 290 

miles north-northwest of Saipan. Storm Motion was north-northwest

at 14 mph. Storm Intensity was 165 mph.



.SITUATION OVERVIEW...

Typhoon Bolaven is moving away from Guam, Rota, Tinian and Saipan 

and remains west of the northern CNMI. Alamagan, Pagan and Agrihan 

will likely receive minimal Tropical Storm force winds today from the 

edge of Super Typhoon Bolaven.



.PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



During the storm, stay inside a sturdy shelter. Do not venture 

outside when high winds are occurring or during temporary lulls as 

flying debris can easily and suddenly cause serious injury.
