This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and

portions of north central Kansas.



.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.



Widely scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon into

this evening. A few could become strong to marginally severe,

mainly southwest of a line from Cambridge, NE to Mankato, KS. The

strongest storms may produce wind gusts up to 60 MPH and hail

possibly up to the size of quarters. 



.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.



Near critical to critical fire weather conditions are possible 

for portions of the area each day Monday through Friday. The most 

days with the most widespread threat appear to be Monday, Tuesday,

and Thursday.
