Waters from Oregon Inlet to Cape Hatteras NC from 20 to 40 nm...



At 641 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line

extending from 20 nm southeast of Ar145 to near Pamlico Sound, moving

east at 30 knots.



HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 

         suddenly higher waves.



Locations impacted include...

Cape Hatteras, Engelhard, Ar160, Pamlico Sound, Pea Island National

Wildlife Refuge, and Rodanthe.
