Through 7 pm, isolated showers and thunderstorms will continue moving west northwest at 15 to 20 knots across the Florida Bay, the Bayside and Gulfside waters north of the Middle Keys, eastern and central Hawk Channel and the eastern Straits of Florida. This activity will produce erratic wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots, poor visibility in heavy rain, and occasional lightning strikes. A few of these showers will track across the island chain, particularly the Middle and Upper Keys, and bring potential new rainfall amounts of a trace to up to a tenth of an inch. $$ MJV
