Through 1100 am, widespread, mainly stratiform showers and isolated 

thunderstorms ahead of a cold front will push through the Florida 

Keys island chain as well as the adjacent nearshore and offshore 

coastal waters. This activity will move generally to the east at near

25 knots. Mariners encounters this activity can expect wind gusts 30

to 35 knots, moderate to heavy downpours reducing visibility, and a 

few cloud to surface lightning strikes. Island communities can expect

up to a tenth of an inch of rainfall.
