Through 4 PM, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will race

to the northwest at 15 to 20 knots across the Straits of Florida 

waters near and west of Cay Sal Bank, and into the Southeast Gulf 

waters, including the waters surrounding the Dry Tortugas. A few

showers may pass through the Lower and Middle Keys with little to no

rainfall accumulations expected. Mariners encountering this activity

showers can expect brief blinding down pours, wind gusts of 25 to 

near 30 knots, and brief bouts of lightning. Information regarding 

stronger activity will be found in the Marine Weather Statements or

Special Marine Warnings as needed.
