Through 430 PM EST, a disorganized line of showers stretched across 

portions of the Florida Straits, Hawk Channel, as well as the Middle 

and Upper Keys and nearshore waters will continue moving north to 

northeast at 5 to 10 knots Mariners encountering this activity can 

expect brief moderate to heavy downpours reducing visibility, wind 

gusts of near 20 knots, and occasional lightning strikes. Island 

communities may see up to a tenth of an inch of new rainfall.
