Through 1030 PM EST, a line of showers stretched across the eastern 

Florida Straits will continue moving northeast at 5 to 10 knots. 

Mariners encountering the stronger portions of this activity can 

expect bouts of heavy downpours reducing visibility, wind gusts of 

near 25 knots, and possibly a rare lightning strike. Island 

communities across the Upper Keys may see up to near a tenth of an 

inch of new rainfall.
