Through 11 AM, a line of showers and thunderstorms will continue to 

track easterly across the Straits of Florida. Radar indicates that 

embedded cells are going through cycles of strengthening, and may 

bring hazards that include wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots, heavy 

downpours reducing visibility, and occasional lightning strikes. Some

cells have shown short periods of rotation, indicating that one or 

two short-lived waterspouts are possible as well, but not very 

likely.
