Through 9 pm, a few showers and thunderstorms will continue to move 

southward between 15 to 20 knots across Florida Bay, the Upper Keys, 

eastern Hawk Channel. Additional activity is beginning to initiate 

along the remnant cloud line along the Middle and Lower Keys as well.

Mariners encountering this activity can expect reduced visibility in

heavy downpours, wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots, and potentially 

frequent lightning strikes. On land, some island communities may pick

up a quick quarter to a half inch especially in the heaviest 

activity.
