Through 300 pm, a broken island cloud line will wax and wane north 

of the Lowers Keys. Mariners in neashore Gulf waters north of Key 

West to Big Pine Key can expect moderate to heavy downpours reducing 

visibility. A few lightning strikes will also be possible in the 

vicinity of the Content Keys. Conditions will also be modestly 

favorable for waterspout formation in this area. As a reminder, a 

waterspout would most likely appear beneath a dark, flat bottom of a 

building cumulus line, just at the hint of rain.
