thunderstorms over Dale City, moving northeast at 20 mph.



Gusty winds of 20 to 30 mph and locally heavy rainfall are possible 

with these storms. Rain rates of one to two inches in a one hour 

period have been observed with this cluster leading to standing 

water on roadways. 



Locations impacted include...

Dale City, Springfield, Fairfax, Fort Hunt, Groveton, Fort Belvoir,

Woodbridge, Lake Ridge, Burke, Montclair, Lorton, Franconia, Hybla

Valley, Newington, Triangle, Dumfries, I395 and I495 Interchange,

West Springfield, Cherry Hill, and Manassas Park.
