Through 700 am, a few showers will continue to wax and wane as they 

drift northwest to northward at around 5 knots across areas of the

distant Florida Straits and portions of the Lower Keys and adjacent

nearshore Gulfside waters. The strongest activity will be capable of

moderate to heavy downpours limiting visibility and wind gusts to 20

knots. Areas over land may receive a tenth of an inch of new rainfall

where showers cross.
