Through 3 pm, scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm or two 

will track westward at around 10 knots, across the Florida Straits 

south of the Marquesas Keys, east of the Dry Tortugas, and the 

nearshore waters of the Lower Keys. This activity will produce wind 

gusts of 20 to 25 knots, blinding downpours, and occasional lightning

strikes.
