Through 3 PM, isolated showers and thunderstorms will wax and wane 

across mainly waters west of Key West and south of the Dry Tortugas.

This activity will drift southward at near 5 knots. Mariners 

encountering the stronger of the activity should prepare for wind 

gusts of 20 to 25 knots, blinding downpours, and brief bouts of 

lightning.

Through 3 pm, cloud lines across mainly the Lower Keys continues to

wax and wane. Within these cloud lines, isolated showers and 

potential thunderstorms will periodically develop. Select island 

communities could pick up an additional quarter to a half inch of 

rainfall. If these cloud lines should drift into the nearshore 

waters, conditions are marginally conducive for waterspout 

development.
