Through 1030 pm, a cluster of showers and possibly a thunderstorm,

will track west southwestward at 10 to 15 knots into the deep gulf

waters 20 to 40 nm west of Chokoloskee. The stronger activity will

produce wind gusts near 25 knots, blinding downpours, and possibly a

rare lightning strike.
