Through Midnight, a cluster of showers and possibly a thunderstorm, 

will track west southwestward at 10 to 15 knots through the deep 

gulf waters 40 to 60 nm west of Chokoloskee. The stronger activity 

will produce wind gusts near 25 knots, blinding downpours, and 

possibly a rare lightning strike.
