Through 930 PM, isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will

move westward at near 20 knots across the Florida Keys coastal 

waters. This activity will be capable of producing wind gusts near 

20 knots, poor visibility in heavy rain, and occasional lightning 

strikes. However, a line of stronger thunderstorms in the 

southeastern Gulf and the nearshore waters north of the lower Island 

Chain extends generally from Ellis Rock Light to near Snipe Point 

Key and 1 to 2 nautical miles north of Key West Harbor. This 

stronger activity will be capable of producing gusty and erratic wind

gusts up to 35 knots, blinding downpours, and frequent lightning 

strikes.
