Through 330 PM, scattered showers with isolated embedded 

thunderstorms will track westward at near 15 knots through the near 

and offshore waters surrounding the Florida Keys. The stronger 

activity, located in the outer Gulf waters, will produce wind gusts 

of near 25 knots, blinding downpours, and a few lightning strikes. 

Island locations across the Florida Keys may be affected by one of 

these passing showers and receive an additional tenth to a quarter of

an inch of rain.
