Scattered showers and thunderstorms from Abernathy to Floydada

northward to Tulia and Happy at 540 PM will move to the southeast

and will approach areas from Idalou to Crosbyton to Dickens by 7

PM. These showers and storms will be capable of producing locally

heavy rainfall in excess of 1/2 inch, small hail, and cloud to

ground lightning. Elsewhere across the South Plains and Rolling

Plains, isolated showers will bring light rainfall amounts.
