Through 300 AM, areas of rain with embedded showers and thunderstorms will persist over the western coastal waters and the Lower Keys, moving east towards the Middle Keys. Individual thunderstorms within these showers are moving east at 20 to 25 knots. Mariners in the vicinity of this activity can expect winds approaching 30 knots, visibility reduced below 2 miles in heavy downpours, and occasional lightning strikes.
