Through 400 AM, areas of rain with embedded showers and 

thunderstorms will move north across the waters of the Western

Straits of Florida towards the Lower Keys. Individual thunderstorms

within these showers are moving north at 5 to 10 knots. Mariners in 

the vicinity of this activity can expect wind gusts near 25 knots

with occasional gusts to 30 knots, visibility reduced below 2 miles

in heavy downpours, and occasional lightning strikes. On land, island

communities in the Lower Keys may receive up to a tenth of an inch of

rainfall.
