Through 1100 pm, isolated showers and thunderstorms will continue to

wax and wane across the SE Gulf waters and the nearshore waters 

surrounding the Island Chain. Additional activity was also developing

across the Straits of Florida to the south of the Middle Keys. This 

activity will continue to move west northwestward between 5 to 10 

knots. The stronger activity will be capable of producing wind gusts 

to near 25 knots, reduced visibility in moderate to heavy downpours, 

and occasionally frequent cloud to ground lightning strikes.
