Through 600 pm, scattered showers will wax and wane in coverage and 

intensity across Hawk Channel, Florida Straits, as well as in the

nearshore gulf and bay side waters just off of the mainland. This 

activity will move south to southwestward at 5 to 10 knots. The

stronger activity will produce wind gust of 15 to 20 knots and poor

visibility in heavy rain.
