.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough extends from eastern Dominican

Republic northward well into the Atlantic to near 31N61W. This 

trough will continue to enhance the development of scattered 

showers and isolated thunderstorms over most of the regional 

waters. The surface trough will also strengthen the easterly 

winds tonight into Friday, before becoming northeast on Saturday 

under the influence of a surface high pressure moving off the 

eastern coast of the United States.
