Low pressure will move offshore over the Gulf of Maine later tonight and Sun while dragging a cold front E across the region. The low pressure area will gradually move off to the E of the waters Sun night through Mon night. A series of secondary cold fronts or low pressure troughs will move SE across the area Sun night into Tue. A high pressure ridge will build E over the region Tue night into Wed and then gradually strengthen NE of the area by Wed night. A warm front and developing low pressure system will approach from the SW Wed night. The low pressure system will move NE over the waters and advance a warm front NE across the area Thu and Thu night. A trailing cold front will gradually move E and SE across the area Thu night.
