.SYNOPSIS FOR THE WESTERN GULF OF ALASKA...



A 1008 mb low at 55N 142W lifts to 57N 146W at 1009 mb by Fri 

afternoon. A compact surface low develops along its front near 58N

140W at 1009 mb Fri morning and lifts to 60N 140W at 1007 mb by 

Sat morning. Both features dissipate in the northern Gulf by Sat 

afternoon.
