ANZ898-150745- 341 PM EST Fri Feb 14 2025 .SYNOPSIS FOR NEW ENGLAND WATERS...Broad low pressure across Newfoundland will continue moving NE away from the area this evening, with strong NW winds persisting over the waters tonight. High pressure will build E over the region late tonight and Sat, then shift SE of the area Sat night. A warm front will lift N across the waters Sun with a strong associated area of low pressure moving NE through New England. The strengthening low will track NE Sun night, reaching the Gulf of Saint Lawrence Mon, while pulling a strong cold front across the waters. A series of low pressure troughs or secondary cold fronts will move across the waters Mon through Tue night as high pressure gradually builds E toward the coast. The high will push offshore Wed, then shift E Wed night as the next low approaches from the SW. $$ ANZ800-150745- Gulf of Maine to the Hague Line- 341 PM EST Fri Feb 14 2025 ...GALE WARNING... ...STORM FORCE WINDS POSSIBLE MON NIGHT... .TONIGHT...NW winds 30 to 40 kt, diminishing to 20 to 30 kt.
