Some lingering organized to heavy rainfall will accompany a cold

front as it continues to move through the Southern Islands

today/Monday, with improving conditions behind the front. By mid

week though, high pressure should again build north of Hawaii

allowing for a return to more easterly trade winds and showers

favoring the typical windward locations. A weak system north of

the islands around next weekend may briefly disrupt trades, but

will not have much precipitation associated with it. Surface high

pressure will strengthen north/northeast of Hawaii early next week

bringing stronger and breezy winds across Hawaii.
