Generally zonal flow and surface high pressure to the north of

Hawaii should maintain easterly trade winds and typical windward

favored showers over the next week. A weak cold front/shortwave

look to pass over or north of Hawaii this weekend with an upper

ridge building in thereafter. This should bring moderate to breezy

trade winds by early to middle of next week.
