...Preliminary Storm Survey Scheduled Today for the Area East-

Northeast of Battleship Rock in Sandoval County New Mexico...



The National Weather Service Office in Albuquerque, NM, will 

conduct a storm survey today for the area 3 miles east-northeast

of Battleship Rock in Sandoval County. The survey is in relation 

to the severe thunderstorms and brief tornado that moved through 

the area on Saturday May 11.



A final assessment including results of the survey are expected

to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information

Statement by 5:00 PM MDT today.



The storm survey information will also be available on our

website at http://www.weather.gov/abq
