There a high-to-likely chance of rain across the area Saturday afternoon through early Sunday. Rainfall amounts will likely be around a quarter inch or less, except a quarter to half inch across northwestern San Luis Obispo County. Snow levels will be fairly high initially, but will lower to between 4000 to 5000 feet over Ventura and Los Angeles Counties by Saturday night. However, at that time only light snow amounts will be possible. NOTE: This a special issuance due to the threat of rain. Routine issuances of this product will resume Nov 1. If widespread rain is expected before then additional forecasts will be sent out. $$
