...ELEVATED WILD FIRE DANGER CONTINUES ON SUNDAY... Expect southerly and southwest winds of 5 to 15 mph by late Sunday afternoon...with some gusts over 20 mph at times. The very dry air will remain in place...with the potential to see humidity levels dropping into the 15 to 25 percent range. If winds become stronger than currently expected...there will be some potential to approach Red Flag conditions. With very dry fuels...such as grasses and shrubs...this will make it easy for a wild fire to ignite and spread rapidly.
