####018002993#### FNUS63 KFSD 250916 RFDFSD Rangeland Fire Danger Statement National Weather Service Sioux Falls SD 416 AM CDT Thu Apr 25 2024 .DISCUSSION... Southeast winds will strengthen today with gusts up to 30-40 mph expected. High temperatures will warm to the 60s while dew points slowly moisten to the 40s. This will keep relative humidity (RH) above critical criteria at 35%+, lowest across parts of southwest Minnesota. The above criteria humidity and strong southeast winds will yield moderate fire danger for this afternoon. Sprinkles to light rain showers are also possible this afternoon but rain chances will increase this evening and night. Dew points further moisten into the 50s tomorrow while high temperatures will only warm up to the upper 50s and 60s. This will keep RH well above critical criteria while southeast winds continue to gust to 30-40 mph, strongest along and east of I-29. Low to moderate fire danger is again expected. Thunderstorms, potentially severe, are possible along the Missouri River Friday afternoon and evening.
