...DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER MONDAY...



.Warm, dry, and windy weather will create critical fire weather

conditions across much of the Colorado eastern plains Monday afternoon

and evening. Conditions will be worst along and south of 

Interstate 76 where the strongest winds and lower humidity are 

expected. From Denver northward and in the mountains, it will be 

windy but humidities will be higher or fuels are not as 

susceptible to ignition.

* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zones 241, 245, 246, 247 and 249.



* Timing...Red Flag Warning, Noon to 8 PM Monday.



* Winds...South 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.



* Relative Humidity...As low as 7 percent.



* Impacts...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. 

  Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a 

  spark and start a wildfire.
