THURSDAY EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR CENTRAL

SOUTH DAKOTA...



The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a Fire

Weather Watch for wind and low relative humidity, which is in

effect from Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening.



* AFFECTED AREA...In South Dakota, Corson, Campbell, Walworth, 

  Dewey, Potter, Stanley, Sully, Hughes, Jones, Lyman and 

  Buffalo.



* WINDS...Northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph.



* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 20 percent.



* IMPACTS...Critical fire weather conditions are a concern on

  Thursday due to the combination of strong winds and dry fuels.
